About the Client
The visiting delegation represented one of the fastest-growing electric mobility distributors in the Dominican Republic, with an established sales network. As the Caribbean nation accelerates its transition toward sustainable transportation, the client has been actively seeking high-performance electric motorcycles that combine European design aesthetics with reliable powertrains suited to tropical climates.
Prior to the visit, the client had conducted extensive market research on Asian electric motorcycle manufacturers, with FUNTI emerging as the preferred partner due to its competitive product portfolio, complete export certification package, and proven track record in Latin American markets.
Factory Tour & Technical Review
|
The delegation began their visit with a guided tour of FUNTI's production facilities, including the automated assembly line, motor testing laboratory, and battery PACK manufacturing center. Particular attention was given to FUNTI's proprietary 72V40Ah lithium iron phosphate battery system, which the client identified as a key differentiator in the Dominican market. "The build quality and consistency we observed on the production line exceeded our expectations," noted the client's technical director. "The attention to waterproofing and corrosion resistance is especially important for our tropical, high-humidity environment." |

Test Ride & Product Evaluation

Following the factory tour, the client participated in an extensive test ride session at FUNTI's dedicated proving ground. Each of the three ordered models — AEROX, MINO, and NITRO — was put through comprehensive road tests evaluating acceleration, braking performance, hill-climbing capability, and ride comfort. The NITRO, FUNTI's flagship large-frame sport model equipped with a 3kW continuous / 6.5kW peak motor, particularly impressed the delegation with its responsive throttle and stable handling at speeds up to 80 km/h. The compact MINO model was evaluated as an ideal urban commuter solution, while the versatile AEROX demonstrated strong appeal for both city and suburban applications. |
After evaluating multiple manufacturers across China and Southeast Asia, FUNTI stands out for delivering genuine value. The performance-to-price ratio of the AEROX, MINO, and NITRO models is unmatched. We are confident these products will capture significant market share in the Dominican Republic.
