01

The frame does the work

These VENTO units shipped as complete motorcycles — fully assembled, not knocked down. Each one sits inside a welded steel cradle, not a cardboard box. The cradle carries the load: the bike rests on the frame’s base rails, is strapped down at four points, and the whole assembly is wrapped in heavy gauge film with foam pads at the contact points. Nothing rests on the bodywork.

The reason is simple. A container crossing the Indian Ocean takes weeks, moves through at least two terminals, and gets lifted, stacked and shifted more times than most people expect. Cardboard absorbs moisture and collapses under stacking load; timber crates are heavy, need fumigation, and are often refused at destination. A steel cradle solves all three: it holds its shape, it does not care about humidity, and it can be handled with a forklift from any side.

02

From container to dealer floor

Unloading took a standard forklift and a morning. The container doors opened onto a line of cradles still standing upright, each one lifted out whole — motorcycle and frame together — rather than unpacked in place. The inspection that followed found no transit damage: no scratches on the panels, no bent levers, no cracked lenses.

That matters more than it sounds. Damage in transit is not only a repair cost — it delays the dealer’s launch, forces rework in a workshop that is set up for assembly rather than paint, and shows the end customer a machine that has already been touched.

A clean arrival means the bike goes from container to showroom floor without a detour.

03

One system, not one bike

A shipment arriving intact is the end of one process and the start of another. What a distributor actually needs is a system that keeps working after the container is empty: matched batteries and chargers, a spare parts package sized to the fleet, technical documentation in the local language where required, and an after-sales path that does not depend on a shipment from China for every small part.

FUNTI supplies that as a package — vehicles, powertrain, charging, spare parts and training — in SKD or CBU configuration, under OEM and ODM terms where the distributor needs its own brand. Packaging is part of the same package rather than an afterthought, because a good motorcycle that arrives damaged is not a good motorcycle.

That is what we mean by a complete green mobility solution for B2B customers: not a single model shipped once, but a supply relationship that holds up over repeat orders, across ports, and through the seasons.

We wish our partner a strong start and a full order book in the season ahead. The first container is always the hardest; the ones that follow are where a partnership shows what it is worth — and we will be here for them.
