FUNTI's two headline models for the season — the NITRO and the HTX — have arrived in Guangzhou, ready for the opening of the 136th Canton Fair on October 15, 2026. Both machines share the same drivetrain heart: a Daitai high-performance planetary gear reduction motor. See them in person at Booth C03-04, Hall 14.1, through October 19.
The NITRO is FUNTI's large sport model: 72V 40Ah battery, a 3 kW rated / 6 kW peak motor, a top speed of 80 km/h and 17-inch wheels — built for riders who want full-size road presence in an electric package.
The HTX takes a different route to the same destination. A PCX-class scooter with a full-coverage streamlined body, it targets riders upgrading from gasoline scooters — and it pairs that premium styling with the same Daitai planetary gear reduction technology, tuned for torque-rich launches, heavy loads and steep gradients.
A reduction motor is not a detail — it is the difference an owner feels every day. The Daitai planetary gear system multiplies motor torque at the wheel, which means stronger hill-climbing under load, quicker pull-away from stands, and lower energy use per kilometre compared with a conventional direct-drive hub motor of similar rating.
For distributors, the argument is practical: markets with hills, heavy riders, or cargo use punish underpowered drivetrains, and gear reduction answers that punishment with hardware rather than promises. Planetary gearing also spreads wear across multiple gear contacts, which is what gives the system its reputation for long service life and quiet running.
